We should all have a Professor Kirkpatrick in our lives. He was the tutor who taught young C. S. Lewis to "clarify his terms." That old Scottish atheist taught the author of Mere Christianity how to think logically and strip away all assumptions to bare, naked fact. We should all be blessed with a Professor Kirkpatrick.
When you and I say, "America" we know what we mean. But there are other Americas on this blessed land and I'm just now starting to become aware of them. In this article, we're going to take the merest glimpse at them and attempt to "clarify" what we mean by the term "America."
This is the tale of three Americas.
AMERICA: Land that We Love
When I said, "I want to write about America," you knew exactly what I meant. I don't have to explain it to you because you carry America in your soul. You are America.
America is the nation where goodness, kindness and generosity abound because most of the souls of her people are good. We are the America of baseball and apple pie. We are the America that kicked Hitler's a$$ and cheered for Babe Ruth. We are the America that gets a lump in our throat when we hear The Star Spangled Banner and flies into a fury when we see injustice done.
We are the America that stands for the flag and kneels at the Cross. The America that....oh! how can anyone put America into words!?! Frank Capra made a pretty good stab at it in Meet John Doe and I certainly can't do better than Capra!
As Colonel Potter would say on M*A*S*H* 4077, "Horse hockey!"
America is her people and you can't morally reduce millions of souls made in the image of God down to ink on paper. America is We the People and there's only one law we need: God's Law. He wrote it on our hearts but our courts have drifted far, far away from it.
AMERICA: The Corporation
A big part of the mass red-pilling of America since the faux inauguration on January 20th has been the shock of realizing that the US of A is a corporation. Or rather, we were. Depending on whom you talk to, America ceased to be a corporation last month, last year or 1999. No one is telling the same story or perhaps each person knows only a small piece of the story. The crux is, of course, money with us used as collateral and we're broke!
President Trump knows a thing or two about the power of going bankrupt. What I'm hearing is that because we are bankrupt, the corporation was dissolved and therefore the election itself was a farce, Biden foolishly heaped voter fraud on top of farce and he's now the treasonous fake President (or rather "Chairman of the Board") of a non-existent corporation and thus nothing, no one and nowhere!
Washington D. C. has been abandoned and we're well rid of it as, apparently, it was a separate nation (rather like the Vatican) ruling over us but not part of us. I guess the relationship between We the People and DC would be described on Facebook as "it's complicated with."
