Patrick Henry Drives a Truck! The Eloquence of Canadian and American Freedom Loving Patriots
"America is a land of heroes."
Who will ever forget that immortal phrase with which President Trump began the most legendary American speech since The Gettysburg Address?
The date was February 4th, 2020.
The event: President Trump's State of the Union address.
America is a land of heroes.
This is a place where greatness is born, where destinies are forged and where legends come to life...
Ladies and Gentlemen, our ancestors built the most exceptional republic ever to exist in all of human history and we are making it greater than ever before....
This nation is our canvas and this country is our masterpiece....
Our spirit is still young, the sun is still rising, God’s grace is still shining, and my fellow Americans, the best is yet to come.
Better patriotic rhetoric simply doesn't exist. It can't. The language of Liberty doesn't get any better than this.
The best part is that, with a pinch and a pat, this incredible eloquence can be adapted to Canada, to Australia, to New Zealand, to France ...wherever Freedom is cherished in the hearts of men, women and children, then "God's grace is still shining...and the best is yet to come!"
And if you listen very, very closely, you will hear President Trump's voice trembling with tears as he speaks these immortal words.
Yet, ever since the stolen election of 2020, it's seemed to me that some people (especially on Gab) are hyper-focused on the General Washingtons, shall we say, as they believe physical confrontation is the only way to restore our "most exceptional Republic" and not focused enough on the Patrick Henries, Thomas Jeffersons and other Founding Fathers who wrote and spoke words that instill Freedom in our very souls. For me, words is where it's at. Without words, what are you fighting for!?!
That's why, in my opinion, there's too much emphasis on "alter or abolish," forgetting that our Founding Fathers spent years exhausting every possible peaceful method to wrest our God-given rights from the clutches of England.
