Let's face it: The People's Convoy (TPC) is a modest crowd. Maybe it's because they're a trifle older than the Ottawa Convoy, but when great kindness happens they tend to hide their light under a bushel when it should be splashed around social media. Since they're such a humble bunch, that's another way we can help the movement: do the splashing for them! #goodPR
Our story begins with a video so adorable it has me in tears every time I watch it and I've watched it a lot. Remember Marcus Sommers? He's the behind-the-scenes Leadership guy who managed the Convoy early last week while Brian and Mike were elsewhere.
What we didn't know is that when the Convoy took off from Adelanto, Marcus left his truck at home to focus on organizing/managing the Convoy. Being truckless was torture for him. As his wife, Michelle, phrased it, "He was feeling like a biker at Sturgis without a Harley." So Michelle and Marcus' friends arranged a very special surprise for him.
Back at home, Mrs. Sommers packed Marcus' truck with clean clothes, food and a sign that read, "Miss you, Big Daddy xoxo" and his friends drove his truck all the way to Hagerstown. When a shocked Marcus saw his beloved truck driving into the speedway, well! Words can't describe his reaction. Turn up your speakers and watch this adorable moment caught on video! If you don't shed a tear, you're made of sterner stuff than I am!
Freedom Truck Convoys are Difficult, But "Convoying" On Foot is Even Harder: Meet Warrant Officer James Topp!
For twenty-eight years, he served his country with pride. Now the Canadian Military is releasing him and threatening his pension under Item 5F simply because he won't "follow a direct order" by taking the death jab. Meet Warrant Officer James Topp, twenty-eight year military veteran and reservist from British Columbia, who's currently on Day 31 of his 4,293 km (2,668 mile) trek marching on foot from Vancouver to Ottawa for Freedom.
Like so many of us, the Canadian Freedom Convoy gave James "something to live for." After refusing the jab and losing almost everything he loved and cared about, the Convoy inspired him to follow in their wheel marks in the spirit of Terry Fox's legendary 1980s Marathon for Hope.
When he reaches Ottawa, James will lay his Regular Army retirement flag on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier...if The-Powers-That-Be allow him anywhere near it.
I know, I know, I know. I said Saturday's Covid rant would be my last Covid article ever, but hey! Woman's prerogative. There is one last tiny loophole to close before leaving the subject forever (hopefully.)
Strangely, even in the midst of sickness, horror and death, blessings have come from Covid in the strangest of ways. Fauci & Co. may've meant it for Evil but God used it for some good. So, just in case I decide to embrace a Covid-free website, we should really count those blessings first.
Funniest COVID Memes of 2021
You could say I want to keep the Dickensian jollity of Christmas going by having a good ol' fashioned two-article meme fest instead of ripping the Democrats a new one like I frequently do in my articles. I've ripped 'em enough in 2021.
But the truth is that yesterday, to my Neat Freak horror, I discovered I'd downloaded 4,100 files, mostly memes, thrown willy-nilly into my Download folder and this article is really just the result of organizing them by category. Two thousand three hundred down; one thousand eight hundred to go!
Memes are like music: they side-step the logical side of our minds and speak truth directly to our hearts. One meme can get the point across better than two hundred honeyed words. That's why I usually throw a few memes onto my News Page and stick a few more in the "Leave 'em laughing" section at the bottom of the emails my subscribers receive.
But there are thousands of unshared memes languishing on my hard drive that I simply must share with you and the best ones were inspired by Covid...a topic I hate with a passion. Even sharing Covid headlines goes against my grain while I'm still struggling to understand and reconcile the perfectly preventable deaths of so many Covid victims, including my friend Melissa's father.
Of course, there's nothing funny about the plandemic but the best way to defeat evil is to laugh at it and Covid memes are often hysterical, devastatingly witty or both! You've probably seem some of them before.
Today for your viewing enjoyment are the best Covid memes I packratted away during 2021. Tomorrow's article will contain all the other memes about non-Covid topics from 2021...hundreds of 'em. Click on a meme to magnify it. Right-click and Save to clutter up your hard drive. ;)
Bladder check! Some of these memes will have you ROTFLYAO!
RIP Mike Granata, "Vax" Genocide Victim: "The doctors [were] excited to participate in my fascinating progression unto death."
This is one of the saddest obituaries I've ever read. Click here to read Mike Granata's obituary describe his graphic death-from-the-jab and sign the guestbook to send your sympathy to his family.
