The other day, I was surprised to see a Guest Article pop into my Inbox. It was written by a pissed off Patriot unburdening his soul of what every Patriotic, Conservative American is thinking and feeling. Sometimes it's just nice to hear our feelings expressed by someone else. #validation
I give you Politics & Politicians: The Evil Harming The World by an anonymous hero who served his country and now watches in agony as his beloved country whom he swore to "defend and protect" goes to Hell in a handbasket.
Yes, I know, most open minded people already know this but I need to say it.
If you speak with any of the peoples of the World, they all have main common denominators: EVERYONE wants to be left alone to live a happy life and be able to provide for their family without restrictions. They ALL want to be FREE and be able to have the liberties we enjoyed in our formerly free America…
Whenever the creeping, advancing totalitarianism in our world is mentioned to my mother-in-law, she goes straight into denial. "That can't happen here," she says. "This is America!" She'd say the same if she were Canadian. But, apparently, it can because Trudeau the Grasshopper did it in Ottawa last weekend to the freedom-loving Ants, if you'll pardon the insect analogy.
Well, as Julia Roberts says in Pretty Woman, "Big mistake. Big. Huge!"
Far from quelling the Canadians' passion for freedom, Trudeau and his jackbooted RCMP and Gestapo police gratuitous violence have fanned this passion from a bright flame to a roaring inferno.
Big mistake, Trudeau. Big. Huge!
The Ants have realized their collective power and, buoyed by the approval of the entire world, they will continue because their consciences are clear, their cause is just and their anger is righteous. They've learned what their government is capable of and they've got nothing left to lose.
The Freedom Loving Canadians have already won and you have already lost, Trudeau. You just haven't realized it yet.
Here are a few thoughts after vicariously basking-via-livestream in a blissful 3-week festival of Freedom and Patriotism so rudely interrupted by Trudeau's Goons-For-Hire.
Every time you think you've seen everything during the three (previously) peaceful weeks of Canada's Freedom Convoy, something even more bizarre happens.
Today we witnessed the worst of Tyrant Trudeau and his Gestapo when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police plunged into the crowd with their steeds, trampling a woman to death [UPDATE 2-19-2022: She may not have died however I thought I saw a horse's hoof land on her torso.] as well as reportedly killing a man who livestreamer, Zoke, says perished after a horse trod on his head. (Not confirmed. Media silence.)
Meanwhile, the Lovers of Freedom continued to make Tamara Lich proud by remaining unarmed and peaceful. Righteously angry and jolly loud...but still peaceful.
In twelve hours of livestream watching, I never saw a fist raised nor a patriot touch a cop in any way. The patriots even admonished each other not to use the "F" word at the police.
At the other end of the emotional spectrum after the RCMP committed murder were the musicians who whipped out guitar, banjo and fiddle for a rousing if rather tone-deaf rendition of, "Rock me mama like a wagon wheel, Rock me mama any way you feel, Hey, hey, mama rock me" as a cops slowly closed in and semi after semi was towed away.
If Trudeau had only validated that the government's power is derived from the consent of the governed and met with the organizers, Tamara would've insisted the trucks leave under their own steam and expense and Ottawa be left spotless. Instead, Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer are footing a whopping great tow bill and the Legacy Media will undoubtedly claim the convoy trashed Ottawa when actually it was trashed when they arrived and cleaned it up!
But perhaps the only funny moment in a very unfunny day was when Rohan of the WarCampaign livestream faced the police and wailed in his fake-ass Indian accent, "Plllllease don't tase me, brrrrrro. I'm holding the line and my pee. I'm caught in a mosh pit forrrrrr frrrrrredom."
It's been a heartbreaking pleasure to "meet" (via livestreams) the many Freedom Convoy truck drivers who fled Eastern Europe seeking Freedom in Canada. The Hell of not having Freedom in Europe ignites in them a love and passion to restore Freedom in Canada that someone who's always enjoyed Liberty can't quite fathom.
Maybe that's why the Freedom Convoys have hit me so hard. From the moment I heard Canada had "a great big convoy, truckin' through the night," I was obsessed.
The first two weeks, I hardly slept, I barely ate, sitting motionless at this computer seeking out and posting any and all news from Ottawa, while my legs slowly swelled. Oops.
The convoys stirred a disturbing, yet eerily familiar emotion I couldn't quite place. A vicarious mixture of excitement and fear, dread and vulnerability, passion and joy.
Then I remembered: Watching Canadian Patriots insist on 100% of their God-given Freedoms, despite all the "science" and shaming, all the condescension and infantilization, triggered the same emotional Hell I experienced in 2013 when I finally wrestled all my God-given Freedom from people who had held me against my will, doling out just enough Freedom so I could earn and pay rent money to them...with a trifle more "Freedom" allowed to keep me "happy" and quiet a la Stockholm Syndrome
Jericho March Challenges Clergy to Lead Their Congregations in Fighting Tyranny Like the Founding Fathers!
On January 21st, 1776, Pastor Peter Muhlenberg of Virginia chose his Sunday sermon text from Ecclesiastes 3: "In the language of the Holy Writ, there is a time for all things. There is a time to preach and a time to fight. And now is the time to fight." Throwing off his black cassock, he revealed his Continental Army uniform complete with saber and flintlock and challenged his congregation: "Who among you is with me?"
As drums beat a military tattoo, three hundred men of Pastor Muhlenberg's flock rose to their feet, kissed their wives and children goodbye and marched down the aisle to follow their pastor into the War of Independence.
At Valley Forge, they starved together as their feet left bloody footprints in the snow. At Brandywine, Monmouth and Stonypoint they fought and died together. And when General Cornwallis surrendered on October 18th, 1781, Major-General Muhlenberg was present at the surrender.
He did what the clergy of America should be doing today: leading their flocks in the fight against tyranny according to Reverend William Cook of the Black Robe Regiment at today's Jericho March. Rev. Cook called out the clergy for cowering behind "separation of Church and State" and scorned their fear of losing their precious 501c3 to the roars of the Washington D. C. crowd.
The pastor rose: the prayer was strong;
The psalm was warrior David's song;
The text, a few short words of might,-
'The Lord of Hosts shall arm the right!'
He spoke of wrongs too long endured,
Of sacred rights to be secured;
Then from his patriot tongue of flame
The startling words for Freedom came....
When God is with our righteous cause:
His holiest places then are ours,
His temples are our forts and towers
That frown upon the tyrant foe:
In this the dawn of Freedom's day
There is a time to fight and pray!
"Relinquish your God-given freedom and we will keep you safe."
Isn't that what all cults say?
That's the deal I was given. It was a deal I took because I was too young, too brainwashed, too submissive, too afraid to do otherwise.
In the end, I received neither freedom nor safety.
So it troubles me deeply when I see our society as a whole bartering their freedoms for so-called "safety."
