For weeks, I've been quietly stewing on the so-called Conservative Media's near total silence about The People's Convoy. It was an irritation that slowly increased from a simmer to a rolling boil and today I'm boiling over!
Why-oh-why won't the so-called Conservative Media cover The People's Convoy which most of us consider to be THE Freedom Event of the Century!?! They were generous enough with their coverage of the Canadian Freedom Convoy to Ottawa!
With the exception of a quick interview here or a brief article there, for over a month the Conservative Media has ignored The People's Convoy. Eric Bolling of Newsmax reportedly tried, but even his videos on YouTube are woefully out-of-date! After re-posting eight of my early Convoy articles, even the aggregator WhatFinger categorically stopped accepting my convoy articles after the Convoy's meeting with Senators Cruz and Johnson.
I expect the Convoy to be ignored by the Mainstream/Legacy Media but damn it! Shouldn't the Conservative Media be better than the MSM!?! They enthusiastically covered the Canadian Freedom Convoy, which had no power to change the USA, but when an American peaceful convoy that might actually inspire change with no drama, no arrests and multiple cordial meetings with politicians during eight weeks of successfully rolling "from sea to shining sea"...all you get are crickets!
As usual, Brian Brase, that sweet ol' sentimental, shed a tear he tried to disguise as a "coffee break" so deeply grateful and touched is he for the sacrifices our Convoy is making. Watching via livestream from Minnesota, Ol' Waterworks here was squirting tears too! (I always do. Don't let it bother you.)
Just when I thought the People's Convoy couldn't top the drama and excitement of Peruvian skydiver, Randall Fortner, unfurling a huge American flag as he floated down to the raceway as the convoy sang The Star Spangled Banner yesterday, they topped it today with a wedding. Awwwwwww.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Norma) Pierce! But more about their wedding later. I'm getting ahead of myself!
It's ironic that exactly two years ago today, the government announced"15 Days to Slow the Spread." Pfffft. Who could have imagined two years ago that worldwide Convoys would be necessary to stop the nonsense, stop the tyrannical Emergency Powers and peacefully restore our beloved Constitution?
Well, at least the Convoys know how to make lemonade from lemons. If you've got to make that sacrifice, at least make it fun. The Canadians' Freedom Convoy showed us how and I'm thrilled to witness the our People's Convoy and the regrouping Canadian Freedom Convoy bonding and support of each other. To cement the relationship, at the morning meeting our Convoy unfurled a beautiful banner given to them by the Freedom Convoy in Canada that bore both their maple leaf and our stars-and-stripes with the words, "The People's Convoy United Together."
Thank you, Canada! You "stood on guard" first and now we "stand on guard for thee" too! Brian Brase sends you this message: "Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for your support and I look forward to supporting you as you regroup."
Oh, and by the way, we're ecstatic to see Tamara Lich is finally home! She's our hero!!! (Where are the feminists celebrating her as a "strong, female leader"? She literally moved the world. Oh wait. She doesn't "count" cause she's not a whacked out Liberal toxic nutbag female. My bad.)
The Heart-Warming Goodness Enveloping of the Peoples' Convoy: "Renaissance not Revolution"
As readers of AMERICA: The Blog may've noticed, I suffer from a terminal case of Pathological Optimism. Like fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg's mother who survived Auschwitz and yet only saw Good everywhere for the rest of her life, I survived an epic personal battle for Freedom, still with my Pathological Optimism intact. So if you arrived on my site looking to dig up dirt on the People's Convoy, Honey, you're in the wrong place cause there ain't any!
Remember how wonderful Ottawa was at the height of their Freedom Convoy? My friend, "D," who danced on the frozen streets of Ottawa every weekend during their Convoy, described it as a "Vortex of Love." Even via livestream, you could feel the joy, the love, the determination in every soul to be peaceful and impeccable. Everyone in Ottawa and watching livestreams from around the world were drunk on Liberté! Liberté! Liberté!
Well, my fellow Americans, our Canadian brothers and sisters have nothing on us! Just one week after setting up housekeeping at the Hagerstown Speedway, our Convoy has come together with a wonderful vibe proving we passionate Americans just as joyful, just as loving, just as patient, peaceful and impeccable as our True North kindred. Maybe there's a little less dancing in Hagerstown but hey! It's an older, more arthritic crowd...but I'm sure a bouncy castle is on the way. (Hint! Hint!)
This article is a compilation of just a few of the heart-warming, lump-in-throat inducing tales flowing out of Hagerstown. So fetch a box of tissues cause you're gonna need 'em.
Our story begins with a four-year-old boy, Robert, who donated his allowance, four quarters, to the truckers. Click the thumbnails below to read the whole story and if you don't have tears running down your cheeks then you're made of sterner stuff than I am!
People's Convoy Discusses Awakening of Freedom with Senators: “I’m a Grown A$$ Man and this $hit Puts Me to Tears.”
Go ahead and search YouTube for WYSIWYG TV's livestream of the People's Convoy meeting with Senators Cruz and Johnson. I'll wait...'cause you won't find the video. YouTube has already removed yesterday's livestream citing "Medical Misinformation."
How do ya like that shit!?! Luckily, their censorship is rendered pathetic and useless because the full video is still available on Facebook Live and Rumble.
But if you missed watching the meeting yesterday, this article is a sort-of Cliff Notes version.
