Who can ever forget those unforgettable words which began the most memorable speech in the history of America since the Gettysburg Address. The Trump White House Christmas of 2019 honored those heroes with decor that "celebrate[d] the courageous individuals who have shaped our country and kept the American Spirit alive."
As always, the People's House (and even the Oval Office!) was open to us, the American people, during Christmas 2019. President and Mrs. Trump flung open the doors of Our House to all who wanted to help decorate, welcome Christmas visitors, provide entertainment or simply tour those historic halls and rooms to admire the beautiful decorations.
The work (and it's a massive amount of work) began when top-hat clad Wayne Mast, his son Daniel, and Daniel's son, Wyatt, drove their team of Clydesdales, Cash and Ben, up Pennsylvania Avenue to deliver the official White House Christmas Tree to Melania Trump (in sky high Louboutins!) while the band played Christmas Carols.
That's where the glamor ended. It took a team of almost twenty burly National Park Service employees to slide the tree into the White House, squeeze her through doorways and carefully hoist her into position. (Notice how they covered the floor of the Blue Room to protect from scratches.)
