Did the Good Ol' Days Ever Exist??? The Ebb and Flow of Goodness vs Evil in America
I've said it before and I'll say it again: "History is awesome until you have to live it. Then it really, really sucks."
Our intense frustration over Fake Biden's theft of the Presidency, and the havoc it's wreaked on all of our lives and finances, makes it tempting to long for the Good Ol' Days when life was simpler, God was revered and people were moral.
Some fascinating, eccentric people find so much comfort in their impression of the Good Ol' Days that they recreate the 1940s or 1950s in every facet of their lives. Like historical re-enactors, they're "authentic to the skin," including girdles...yet they all have Instagram and YouTube channels!
I get it! Living in the past eliminates the strong emotions inspired by Evil current events. Even the worst events of the 1940s can't inspire the intensity and immediacy of the pain inspired by all the Evil in our modern world. Living in the past is a buffer against pain.
As much as I admire and envy the beautiful women living Vintage Lives in gorgeous vintage fashion, I can't help wondering if the Good Ol' Days were really as good and honest as we imagine, especially politically.
I also wonder if our current Evil is permanent or if it's possible for America to return to the goodness of the Good Ol' Days.
