Many people say they're going to do something grandiose only to fizzle. Warrant Officer James Topp delivered on his heroic promise to walk across Canada for Freedom, arriving today in Ottawa.
Joined by thousands of Lovers of Freedom, James completed his March for Freedom just in time for Canada Day. Oh wait, didn't Trudeau cancel Canada Day!?!
As Tamara Lich again languishes in a Canadian jail for doing absolutely nothing wrong, James grasped the torch from her and carried it over the finish line.

"Turns out happiness is overrated. Who knew?"
With that delightfully snarky response to the World Economic Forum's article Psychologists Say a Good Life Doesn’t Have to be Happy or Even Meaningful, a Canadian Patriot I'm proud to call my friend, Dan Arcand, begins a wonderfully clever rant he kindly gave me permission to reprint here.
Actually, this article is more like a Russian nesting doll. Dan's snark was inspired by a substack that was inspired by that vile WEF article.
Dan goes on to say...
Just to be clear this is not a parody, or a joke, this is the nonsense that the super rich jet setters would like you to believe as they short your 401k from the comfort of their mountain top chalets....
Article written by Dan Arcand, Freedom-Loving Patriotic Canadian
In June, a brave Canadian police officer, Ontario Constable Erin Howard, will face a disciplinary board in Whitby, Ontario.
And for what!?!
For having the temerity to speak to Canadians directly from her squad car in February. For saying what everyone was feeling. For recognizing the unity the Trucker Freedom Convoy provoked across the country.
When I saw her on the 54-second video that raced across the nation, it brought tears to my eyes. I felt such joy mixed with relief at the sight of an officer representing our fears and our hopes as Canadians while wearing the uniform we all needed to believe in.
And for this "crime" she is publicly persecuted.
This is yet another in a series of unbelievable events we Canadians find ourselves starring in.
Where do I go to become an honorary Canadian? I've lost my heart to the wonderful Canadian Patriots. If you too became hopelessly addicted to the truckers and livestreams of the Ottawa Convoy, then you'll be thrilled to know the Canadians have barely even begun to fight for their Liberty. They've rested, regrouped and are still rolling for Freedom! When the poster for a Freedom Event states the date of the event as being, "Every Saturday," you know this Freedom thing ain't going away.
"America is a land of heroes."
Who will ever forget that immortal phrase with which President Trump began the most legendary American speech since The Gettysburg Address?
The date was February 4th, 2020.
The event: President Trump's State of the Union address.
America is a land of heroes.
This is a place where greatness is born, where destinies are forged and where legends come to life...
Ladies and Gentlemen, our ancestors built the most exceptional republic ever to exist in all of human history and we are making it greater than ever before....
This nation is our canvas and this country is our masterpiece....
Our spirit is still young, the sun is still rising, God’s grace is still shining, and my fellow Americans, the best is yet to come.
Better patriotic rhetoric simply doesn't exist. It can't. The language of Liberty doesn't get any better than this.
The best part is that, with a pinch and a pat, this incredible eloquence can be adapted to Canada, to Australia, to New Zealand, to France ...wherever Freedom is cherished in the hearts of men, women and children, then "God's grace is still shining...and the best is yet to come!"
And if you listen very, very closely, you will hear President Trump's voice trembling with tears as he speaks these immortal words.
Yet, ever since the stolen election of 2020, it's seemed to me that some people (especially on Gab) are hyper-focused on the General Washingtons, shall we say, as they believe physical confrontation is the only way to restore our "most exceptional Republic" and not focused enough on the Patrick Henries, Thomas Jeffersons and other Founding Fathers who wrote and spoke words that instill Freedom in our very souls. For me, words is where it's at. Without words, what are you fighting for!?!
That's why, in my opinion, there's too much emphasis on "alter or abolish," forgetting that our Founding Fathers spent years exhausting every possible peaceful method to wrest our God-given rights from the clutches of England.
Freedom Rang From LA to Vancouver: People's Convoy Energizes Rally while Canada Protests Bill Gates' TED Talk
In 1927, Al Jolson shocked the world by speaking on film: “Wait a minute, wait a minute, I tell yer, you ain't heard nothin' yet,” he said.
The same goes for this weekend when Lovers of Freedom spoke, prayed, pledged, sang, wept and chanted for Freedom from Los Angeles to Vancouver...and you ain't heard nothin' yet, Baby! They're just getting started.
Our beloved People's Convoy, whistleblower doctors, vaccine injured and bereaved of every race, color, creed, political party and vaccination status joined together at the Defeat the Mandate rally in Los Angeles for a rip roaring good time that is still going strong as I click "Publish."
Meanwhile, our brave brothers and sisters of the True North protested at Bill Gates' TED Talk in Vancouver today and they too are just getting started!
With several rallies scheduled every week this month in Sacramento, Niagara Falls, every province and state capitol, it's obvious that patriots "have not yet begun to fight."
And now that the Canadian 22 Freedom Convoy and US People's Convoy are issuing joint press releases!?! Unstoppable! "If God be for us, who can be against us?". (Romans 8:31)
Somehow, I missed him! Maybe it's because I ignore the entire swamp of lyin' a$$ Mainstream Media, including Fox News, so Csaba didn't drift onto my radar until last week.
Oh, you've gotta meet him!
You've heard the saying, "Putting a face to a name." Well, now we're "Putting a face to a beating." A savage, bestial, rage-filled beating of this peaceful trucker on his knees with his hands locked behind his head. Csaba never resisted. In fact, he laughed as they broke his wrist and damaged his back, liver and kidneys.
Canada already knows and loves him but all of America needs to hear and be inspired by Csaba Vizi's story. Despite everything, his love of Freedom and determination to fight for his beloved adopted country remains undaunted. He may be Canadian but the spirit of 1776 burns brightly in his heart...and you can't get higher praise than that from an American!
The "Vortex of Love" that began in Ottawa has now overflowed the Canadian border and is flowing down to our convoy in Hagerstown, enveloping them with love and support. I promised to pass along every kind message from Canada for the People's Convoy and here are the first sixty of those messages. (More to come, I'm sure!)
The messages are presented twice, both as a slideshow and also as a gallery for easy viewing (I hope!) on both desktop computers and smartphones. You'll notice I've cropped out all the names. There's no reason for our True North kindred to be persecuted merely for supporting our convoy.
If you would like to send a kind message to the People's Convoy, please scroll down and leave a comment at the bottom of this article! Yesterday, I think God sent the Convoy His love when He enveloped the Speedway in a double rainbow!
Thank you for your love and support, Canada. We love you too!
Whenever the creeping, advancing totalitarianism in our world is mentioned to my mother-in-law, she goes straight into denial. "That can't happen here," she says. "This is America!" She'd say the same if she were Canadian. But, apparently, it can because Trudeau the Grasshopper did it in Ottawa last weekend to the freedom-loving Ants, if you'll pardon the insect analogy.
Well, as Julia Roberts says in Pretty Woman, "Big mistake. Big. Huge!"
Far from quelling the Canadians' passion for freedom, Trudeau and his jackbooted RCMP and Gestapo police gratuitous violence have fanned this passion from a bright flame to a roaring inferno.
Big mistake, Trudeau. Big. Huge!
The Ants have realized their collective power and, buoyed by the approval of the entire world, they will continue because their consciences are clear, their cause is just and their anger is righteous. They've learned what their government is capable of and they've got nothing left to lose.
The Freedom Loving Canadians have already won and you have already lost, Trudeau. You just haven't realized it yet.
Here are a few thoughts after vicariously basking-via-livestream in a blissful 3-week festival of Freedom and Patriotism so rudely interrupted by Trudeau's Goons-For-Hire.
Every time you think you've seen everything during the three (previously) peaceful weeks of Canada's Freedom Convoy, something even more bizarre happens.
Today we witnessed the worst of Tyrant Trudeau and his Gestapo when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police plunged into the crowd with their steeds, trampling a woman to death [UPDATE 2-19-2022: She may not have died however I thought I saw a horse's hoof land on her torso.] as well as reportedly killing a man who livestreamer, Zoke, says perished after a horse trod on his head. (Not confirmed. Media silence.)
Meanwhile, the Lovers of Freedom continued to make Tamara Lich proud by remaining unarmed and peaceful. Righteously angry and jolly loud...but still peaceful.
In twelve hours of livestream watching, I never saw a fist raised nor a patriot touch a cop in any way. The patriots even admonished each other not to use the "F" word at the police.
At the other end of the emotional spectrum after the RCMP committed murder were the musicians who whipped out guitar, banjo and fiddle for a rousing if rather tone-deaf rendition of, "Rock me mama like a wagon wheel, Rock me mama any way you feel, Hey, hey, mama rock me" as a cops slowly closed in and semi after semi was towed away.
If Trudeau had only validated that the government's power is derived from the consent of the governed and met with the organizers, Tamara would've insisted the trucks leave under their own steam and expense and Ottawa be left spotless. Instead, Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer are footing a whopping great tow bill and the Legacy Media will undoubtedly claim the convoy trashed Ottawa when actually it was trashed when they arrived and cleaned it up!
But perhaps the only funny moment in a very unfunny day was when Rohan of the WarCampaign livestream faced the police and wailed in his fake-ass Indian accent, "Plllllease don't tase me, brrrrrro. I'm holding the line and my pee. I'm caught in a mosh pit forrrrrr frrrrrredom."
The lessons the valiant Canadian Truckers have taught the entire world this week can't be learned in any book nor classroom. Over and over I read tweets about tough men and strong women who've been brought to tears by the kindness, the generosity and the friendliness of thetruckers and those caring for them in Ottawa.
I'm ashamed to admit that as a kid I only ever heard three things about truckers, all of them negative.
Something about "repenting in sackcloth and ashes" is appropriate here because that was horribly wrong. The Canadian truckers have put all their detractors to shame. Contradicted all the derogatory clichés. They are determined to be impeccable. To heap hot coals of kindness on the heads of those who wish to accuse them, shame them, arrest them.
Here's what I've learned after just one week of following the Freedom Convoy and ten years of marriage to a former trucker!
In a nutshell, the first truckers to arrive in Ottawa were charmed with an elaborate ruse by the City of Ottawa and Ottawa police and now their trucks languish on the outskirts of Ottawa, out of sight, out of the rally. While I definitively support the Thin Blue Line, who have even been bringing hot meals to the truckers, they make it very hard when a few behave so disgracefully.
