Father and son? Or something more?
C'mon, we're all wondering the same thing. Beyond "business partners," what exactly was the nature of Joe Biden's relationship with his son, Hunter? The Bidens aren't exactly known for appropriate physical boundaries with each other.
When these photographs were taken by New York based photographer, Pari Dukovic, for a May 2016 Popular Mechanic article titled, Things My Father Taught Me, they may've raised a few eyebrows.
But now? Americans are taking a closer look.
Like all allegedly toxic and/or incestuous and/or abusive families, the Biden family probably had the same two Cardinal Rules.
#1. Never, ever talk. Never tell the truth. Never spill the beans or else.
#2. Stick with The Official Story.
It's always the same Official Story: We're a wonderful, loving all-American family. Full stop. End of story. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Until the accidentally-on-purpose (?) leak of Hunter's Laptop from Hell and Ashley's diary, the Biden clan never deviated in the slightest from the Official Story. As Hunter said in the Popular Mechanic article, "[Joe] wasn't just a good dad. He wasn't just a great dad. I know a lot of great dads. And I know a lot of people that have great relationships with their father. He was—he is still—an extraordinary dad."
Occasionally, the best appearing families really are great families. More often, in my experience, the best appearing families harbor the darkest secrets.
When my husband, Michael, met my family in 2012, he thought he'd died and gone to Leave It To Beaver heaven. His long sought "perfect family" had finally come true. I firmly believed my parents were Ward and June Cleaver. So why was I almost paralyzed by the pain?
As it turns out, both of our families were enmeshed. Both had the No Talk rule. Both had Official Stories.
No family's façade is full-proof. There's always a fissure where the truth seeps out. Most often, it's because the children assume their family is normal. With no frame of reference, they can't possibly realize how inappropriately the family members behave towards each other, so the children talk about it openly, not realizing they've broken Cardinal Rule #1.
If the photographs of Hunter's haunted eyes peering out from his father's lover-like embrace don't convince you, here's a weird quote from Joe that slipped into the Popular Mechanic article:
Although I don't believe a word Lyin' Joe said in the Popular Mechanic article, I believe that one statement. It was honest because it was a slip. Hunter didn't even catch it.
In the Biden family, it was apparently perfectly normal for nearly-adult young men to share a bed with their father. The same bed, I assume, Joe shared with Hunter's step-mother, Jill. The "babysitter" this good Catholic man was met four months before his first wife conveniently died not by drunk driver.
This behavior is entirely in character for the Bidens. Joe got naked to shower with his daughter, Ashley. She speaks of being hyper-sexualized from a young age. Hunter lived with Hallie, the former wife of Hunter's brother, Beau, and the mother of Beau's under-age daughter, whom Hunter was also "involved" with. Joe himself is pictured publicly kissing his granddaughter on the mouth. Not a grandfatherly peck. A kiss.
Like grandfather, like uncle. Like father, like son. We just don't know, yet, how much the alleged "Level 20" videos on Hunter's laptop are "the apple not falling far from the horse."
This is an oddly wealthy society family from Delaware who can't keep their paws off each other.
If the Biden "family" twists your stomach now, just wait. I've got this gnawing feeling we haven't yet begun to learn the depths of their depravity and enmeshment, not to mention, treason.
