Sussmann's acquittal by a corrupt judge and a corrupt jury are the final straw. The last evil on the last day of a very evil month.
But why!?! Why did evil explode on a massive scale this month, well, actually since January 2021.
It began when a certain man gracefully vacated a position he'd won in a landslide. During his Presidency, Trump's quiet will of iron had single-handedly held Evil at bay like Jean-Luc Picard shouting, "The line must be drawn here! This far, no further!" When Trump boarded that plane bound for Mar-a-Lago, Evil danced a jig and then got busy. Since then, there have been so many shameless, bizarre, disgusting headlines that the mind literally reels.
But, for me, Sussmann's acquittal was the last straw. The last straw in a dark month that has left the nation as a whole (and, as my subscribers know, the Thompsons as a family) bruised, battered and bleeding. (I think my retina had another bleed. Like Sinatra did (not!) sing, "Looking at the world through gray, blotchy, blurry glasses."
Black Conservative Patriot's video title summed up today's verdict the best: Swamp...Finds Clinton Lawyer Michael Sussmann NOT GUILTY.
They stole the Presidency and they're still not happy.
They probably stole the House of Representatives and they're still not happy.
They kinda-sorta control the Senate and they're still not happy.
SCOTUS may or may not rule their way and they're still not happy.
The transgender, Critical Race Theory, Satanist after-school clubs and pedophile agenda run rampant in our schools and they're still not happy!
The Democrat/Liberal/Woke crowd controls almost everything in our government so naturally I assumed they'd be thrilled but, according to their writing in Medium, they're not! Not by a long chalk.
What did I miss!?! So much has happened since I last wrote a proper article that it's hard to know where to start!
Truth Social couldn't have come online at a better time. In times of distress like the Thompsons have been experiencing, it's a great comfort to come home from hospital, climb into your comfies and log onto Truth Social.
Yes! Last week, both Michael and I finally joined Truth Social and discovered not only a great culture of fellow patriots but also a treasure trove of great memes we haven't seen before...not even on Gab!
Meanwhile, there's been a rare sighting of that most elusive creature: johnius durhamius. This long-awaited first trial of a member of the Hillary/Deep State clique has begun and I've got a funny feeling Q posts from years ago will quietly come true.
Actually, it's already happened! How's about this overlooked Q post from 2018 about SCOTUS justices needing protection (think Roe v Wade!).
Meanwhile, the plug was pulled on The People's Convoy but they're regrouping. Oh, the drama!
“Just do something, ANYTHING, to stand up for our Constitution and for Freedom!”
Dear Patriots, I'm so sorry for not writing much recently. There's been a lot going on, behind the scenes.
Actually, I just got home from the hospital. My ophthalmologist swiftly diagnosed my blotchy vision as a retinal hemorrhage + optical nerve swelling most likely caused by extremely high Blood Pressure...and sent me directly across the road to the ER for intravenous Blood Pressure meds.
He scared me straight by saying I basically "had a stroke in my right eye." This is my first serious health problem and I wish I'd taken care and kept on the meds but I was spared anyways. It could've been MUCH worse when my BP hit 234/139. Oddly, my first cousin, Chris (may he rest in peace), had a stroke in his early forties.
Michael has been wonderfully supportive, driving me to and from the hospital twice this week (100 miles round trip). I'm going to rest all weekend but my friend, Patty, kindly agreed to write a guest post about her recent visit with The People's Convoy! I love how she formatted it as a letter between two friends. :)
I was planning to write about several interesting non-convoy topics this week, but alas, it just didn't happen. Perhaps next week????
If anyone would like to write a guest article for the blog, I'd be grateful. It's been terribly neglected the last few weeks and I've got to learn how to write passionately while staying calm....very, very calm. Hmmmm.
And now...what it's really like at The People's Convoy!
Article written by Dan Arcand, Freedom-Loving Patriotic Canadian
In June, a brave Canadian police officer, Ontario Constable Erin Howard, will face a disciplinary board in Whitby, Ontario.
And for what!?!
For having the temerity to speak to Canadians directly from her squad car in February. For saying what everyone was feeling. For recognizing the unity the Trucker Freedom Convoy provoked across the country.
When I saw her on the 54-second video that raced across the nation, it brought tears to my eyes. I felt such joy mixed with relief at the sight of an officer representing our fears and our hopes as Canadians while wearing the uniform we all needed to believe in.
And for this "crime" she is publicly persecuted.
This is yet another in a series of unbelievable events we Canadians find ourselves starring in.
In retrospect, it may've been a mistake to browse Facebook today. All those glowing posts about "the best mother ever." All my friends' pictures of their happy, happy, happy families grinning broadly.
If your family has been blessed with that authentic joy, I'm happy for you. Envious, actually. You might want to click off this article now because it's for "the rest of us."
Those of us who white-knuckle it through Mother's Day for a plethora of reasons, all of them painful. If Mother's Day is one of the worst days of the year for you too, then this article is for you.
What's Going So Right!?! Roe v Wade Defeated, People's Convoy En Route to DC and Hunter's Laptop in the News...AGAIN!
Somewhere deep in the WCCO-TV archive is footage shot in the dark and cold of the 1987 Minnesota Winter. WCCO was covering a pro-life march circling the Planned Parenthood in St. Paul. The media were particularly interested in a little seven-year-old bundled to the eyebrows in a snowsuit, her woolly mittens clutching a tiny picket sign stapled to a splintery two-by-four. Each time she trundled past the TV cameras in the cold, dark and snow, the WCCO cameramen quickly crouched to film her face.
That little protestor was me and thirty-five years later, I'm torn between tears of joy and nervous incredulity that at long last precious babies' lives will be saved. Millions of them.
